THE GOOD LIFE | Episode 1

“The Ọgás at the Top” is a 9 episode serialized animated comedy drama created for YOA Insurance Brokers. It tells one continuous story across nine monthly episodes (April to December 2026), following Chief Babatunde Akinwale, known to everyone as Oga Tunde, a wealthy, charismatic, and deeply unenlightened Lagos businessman who does not believe in insurance.

Over the course of one catastrophic week, everything Tunde has built begins to crumble. His car, his warehouse, his goods, his employees, his reputation, his family’s security, one by one, disaster strikes. And one by one, the audience realizes that every loss could have been prevented with the right insurance coverage.

But this is not a series about insurance. This is a series about a man, his pride, his family, and the week that changed everything. Insurance is the invisible thread running beneath the surface, the thing the audience slowly recognizes is missing from Tunde’s life, the solution hiding in plain sight that he is too proud, too superstitious, and too stubborn to see.

The series ends with Tunde’s transformation from an insurance scoffer into an insurance advocate, not because someone taught him a lesson, but because he lived through the consequences.
